Call for Papers

Dear colleagues!

The Ministry of Culture, sports and Tourismof Mongolia, Institute of language and Literature (ILL) of the MongolianAcademy of Sciences, International Institute of Nomadic Civilization (IINC) andMongolian National Commission for UNESCO is pleased to announce that anInternational Symposium and Festival, “Epicof Central Asia” II, will be held in UlaanbaataronAugust 5-7, 2013.

This symposium is aimed to discusstheoretical approaches and broad range of historical themes, culture and sociallife Epic in Asia.

We welcome contributions addressing, butnot limited to, the following range of issues;

· History and Culture of CentralAsia`s Epic

· Tradition, philosophy andreligion of Epic

· Literature and language ofCentral Asia`s Epic

Symposium will be held in Mongolian andEnglish languages.

Thedeadline for applications to participate in theconference is April 25^th,2013 and submission of papers is Mai 15^th, 2013. (Mongolian orEnglish version accepted)

Guidelines for contributors:

- Please send your papers as an MS Wordfile (.doc, .docx, .rtf). The text body should be with no hyphenation,indentations and page numbering, in Times New Roman 12 pt. Please keep yoursubmission to no more than500 words.

- The author`s name should be in the upperright corner of the title page. City and country should be indicated below theauthor`s name. The title of the paper should be capitalized, bold and centered.

- Papers should be typed in 1,5 space onone side only, with 2 cm margins on all sides. Footnotes numbering should bepaginal.
